Resonant World #141
I’m delighted to announce the launch of What Is Collective Healing? — a new weekly podcast bringing the revolutionary potential of collective and inter-generational trauma healing to new audiences.
The first episode features Manda Johnson, whose pioneering work with a practice known as Global Social Witnessing — where we come together in community to build a more intimate relationship with seemingly faraway crises — has featured a number of times on Resonant World:
Partnership with the Pocket Project
The inspiration for this podcast grew out of my collaboration with
Rothbard, who I met via the Gifts of Trauma podcast (which J’aime produces and co-presents) late last year. We’re now partnering with the Pocket Project — a nonprofit dedicated to collective trauma healing — to produce What Is Collective Healing?, an entirely original show exploring the heart of this work. Our first few episodes feature fellow students I’ve got to know through the Timeless Wisdom Training and Collective Trauma Facilitator Training led by Thomas Hübl and team. As we progress, we’ll be welcoming guests from many other schools, lineages and traditions, weaving a global network of connections, and laying the foundations of the trauma-restoring media system of the future.
I’ll be serving as host in rotation with Kosha Joubert, chief executive of the Pocket Project, and Sonita Mbah, our fellow co-host of the Climate Consciousness Summit.
If you feel inspired, we’d hugely appreciate it if you were able to take a few seconds to follow the podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify by clicking the below links. Reviews and comments are also extremely valuable in supporting our mission to reach more people — as is sharing the podcast on your social feeds, or directly with people you think may appreciate it. Thank you!

And here’s some snippets of forthcoming episodes with David Young, developer of the Art of Collective Integration, and Laura Caldéron de la Barca, whose seminal paper Healing Systems, co-authored with John Kania and Katherine Milligan of the Collective Change Lab, featured in Resonant World:
New Voices
Some of the guests on What Is Collective Healing? you may already know, but our emphasis is on featuring new faces reflecting a wide range of backgrounds, approaches and cultures.
Our intention is not to speak “about” collective healing from a purely intellectual perspective but transmit the energetic quality of what happens during the process by speaking “from” our own experience.
I think of each episode as a homeopathic dose of the psychoactive field we establish — now instantly and freely available to anyone who tunes in.
By engaging in this kind of deep dialogue, Kosha, Sonita and I intend to make collective healing more accessible and illuminate the universal principles underlying this work through a tapestry of voices.
I feel extraordinarily grateful to J’aime for the artistic flair and healing vision she has infused into this project — which feels precisely aligned with my long-standing intention to redeploy skills I developed serving large media organisations in the service of the global healing movement.
It’s also a project that would never have happened without your engagement with my work here at Resonant World.
Thank you — as ever — for your support. It means the world to me.
I’ll be posting about some of the interviews on Resonant World, but the best way to ensure that you don’t miss an episode is to follow What Is Collective Healing? on Spotify and Apple Podcasts here:
